It’s a busy week for Irish shoppers as we finally get a few of the consumer frills found elsewhere in the world. On Monday the first Irish Ikea opened in Dublin with very little fanfare or attention…right. And at 10am on Thursday, American Apparel opened at the foot of Grafton Street.
Hooray, now I can restock on all my basic homewears and ts!
I’m hot and cold on some of AA’s styles. Gold Lamee hotpants are not so hot on me, but there is no better place for basic jersey knits that are made in the good ole USofA. My friend checked out the opening today and said there were a few first day hickups to work out, so I’ll check out the shop tomorrow on my lunch break. Here’s what I’ll be looking at
