I’m so tempted to get this amazing antique Girl Scouts pin awarding excellence in social dependability–an admirable trait in all young girls.

I found it on Blue Dog Jewlery’s Etsy site. The pin is one of 4 Challenge pins awarded by the Girls Scounts in 1963. Also available are the Emergancy Preparadness and Active Citizenship pins (all $12 ea.) The seller is from Canyon Lake, TX–a stone’s throw from where I grew up. How could I not get it?
