Style By Numbers

A few months ago when I was sick, the Husband came home from Tesco with this cute blue dress. I’m impressed with some of Tesco’s clothes recently, especially the coats and dresses. Sorry for the poor quality of the photos (there was really low light and my photographer was getting a bit impatient).

It’s a very well made cotton jersey dress with a wide waist band and tie (that I’ve covered up with a big elastic belt from Accessorize). There’s a nice attention to detail in the dress with the draped cross front and gathering in the back. Don’t know how much he paid, but it couldn’t have been much. And jewel tones are perfect for bringing a punch of colour into fall.

This is definitely an evening look with the belt, heels and hoops. I’d just been swimming and didn’t have time to dry my hair before dinner, so I pulled it back in a tight bun and braided bangs to add a little edginess. I’m thinking of remixing this outfit for work tomorrow and will try to get better pics.
