Caramel Strudel

I don’t know what I like best about this photo, my new bowling sweater or the delicious apple strudel or that they match!

This was one of my recent finds from Wild Child and I love it. However, it is 100% polyester and I learned that polysweaters do not breathe in the weird muggy, rainy we’ve been having. I love this scarf too, it’s the first charity shop purchase I made when I moved here last year…thus opening the doors to a ridiculously thrifty obsession.

Isn’t the ‘bowling’ script cute? I love the inperfectness of it. It kind of reminds me of Laverne and Shirley, which reminds me that I’ve been meaning to embroider a ‘L’ on one of my sweaters. Maybe a project for next week. The Bakery Apple Strudel on stylebynumbers.info
And what’s that I’m eating? An outrageously yummy cinnamon apple strudel with chocolate, caramel and peanuts. Holy Cow!

If you haven’t been to The Bakery in the West End of  Temple Bar (Essex Street area) you are totally missing out. It is AH-MAZING. I walk past it every morning on my way to work just so I can smell the deliciousness coming from their ovens. On this occasion I had the aforementioned Strudel and a chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent that nearly brought tears to my eyes. Nom nom nom.
