Listen up rain, I’ve just about had enough. I appreciate your reprieve today (especially since I had the day off), but would like to see a bit more of dear old sun. To show you my gratitude in taking a break today, I give you colour.

I found this great Topshop tunic/dress with Mexican styled embroidery at Enable for only €4 yesterday and knew I had to wear it now to break up the dull grey in the weather and my wardrobe. I just love unexpected bursts of colour in the winter and fall. On my way home from work last night I cut through Dunnes and the many, MANY pairs of jeggings (€10) caught my eye. I thought they might work with the top and took a chance. I was a non-believer, but actually like them–but not as pants, I just dont have the figure for it.
Anyhoo, I took the day off for some me-time pre birthday and went out to Tallaght to have lunch with my hubby, which is where I found this crazy school bus. The colour was just right as a backdrop and it suited the nostalgia fest that is my birthday. I must admit, I’m getting a little homesick which may explain why I was drawn to the tunic.

Oh, and the embroidery is fantastic. I’m impressed Topshop, compare it with the real deal here.
