I bet you thought I went and had my baby already due to my blogging absence…well, I’m still waiting. I’m 39 weeks and 3 days and counting down to 40 (or 41 or 42 weeks) when I can finally meet the little guy. Maternity leave has been great so far giving me lots of time to take care of things around the house that I’ve neglected. But alas, business combined with breaking the internet, forgetting logins and being unable to sit at a desk for prolonged periods without my back and legs aching means that I’m dreadfully behind on the blog. Never fear. I’m working away on editing photos and will have some posts lined up for the next few weeks when I (hopefully) am busy delivering and taking care of the new baby.

In the meantime, get a good laugh out of the view of my feet from above. The bump is ridiculous!

Hello... $40 on Etsy

So, as you can see I’m in the 3rd Trimester…and everything has changed! I had a pretty rough week last week, so sorry for the lack of posts. The baby is riding high and pushing against my ribs. Ouch! Some great prenatal yoga from Yoga Dublin Studios, lots of hot water bottles and rest has helped make it better though. Just hoping he starts to move down a little before August! If I fall behind a bit in posting, have patience. And thanks for stopping by!

@21 Weeks Ξ This shirt dress was a steal at only €5 on sale at H&M. So far I’m not terribly thrilled with the selection of maternity wear at the Stephen’s Green location (but then, I’m not thrilled with the selection of affordable maternity clothes anywhere. I may be pregnant, but I’m in my 20s and can still follow trends). Anyway, I digress. This dress is an affordable exception. I’m mad about buffalo plaid and the super light cotton means it will be wearable for multiple seasons–a real plus when you’re trying to stretch your maternity wardrobe.

These pics aren’t the best, but I’m sure I’ll be wearing this outfit again soon with better snaps. It’s a nice alternative to last summer’s buffalo bargain I can’t get enough of tomato red and buffalo plaid.  I think this dress will last me in my non maternity days too–it’s slightly longer and has a higher waist than a regular tunic might, but that suits me because I’m long waisted)

*at least, looks like it so far!

We’re so excited. I can’t wait to meet the little guy. I’ve already been thinking about awesome nursery ideas (on a budget of course), but I still have to wait a few more weeks before I buy anything

In the meantime I’ve got a few new style posts, product reviews, last minute Christmas wishlists, and more! Oh, and I have new fringe. Still not sure I’m adjusted to it yet.

It is in perfect condition and was an unreal price of €1.50. I can’t begin to describe how excited I was to find this. I love little paper suitcases and already have two from the Paper Source that just happen to stack up perfectly.

See! The red one holds all my stationary for my correspondences, the blue one holds all my shades and I’ll have to find something lovely to keep in my new suitcase.  Here’s some detailing of the vintage children’s illustrations. The bears are playing badminton and the clown has a whip! Crazy.
